Good things come in threes and at PPG, that’s scorpios. November ones, to be specific. According to ChatGPT they are:
- Transformative and resilient
- Private but powerfully magnetic
- Loyal and protective of their people
- Drawn to truth, passion, and purpose
I’m not into star signs or particularly spiritual, but I will admit that the above description is rather accurate for both Josh and Lou. Shelby, our third scorpio, on the other hand, doesn’t have much in common with them, other than a shared birthday with Josh.
You best believe we took our office birthday celebrations very seriously yesterday. You might have seen the only decent photo we snapped on our Instagram page, but we thought you might like to see the effort it took behind the scenes.

The other thing we take very seriously is making the most of the weeks leading into Christmas.
When Lou and Georgie aren’t suggesting advent calendars, festive cookie jars and matching jammies for our team Christmas weekend* they are working hard to ensure we can launch a number of properties before Santa arrives. While Kmart and Adairs are cleared of their Christmas paraphernalia, there is still a lot of admin and marketing going on behind the scenes; their ability to multitask never fails to amaze me.
*It’s a no from me, but they are persistent. If you see us in Grinch PJs on the Gold Coast, no you didn’t.
We’ve had a busy week of photo and video shoots and I can’t wait to share sneak peeks of upcoming campaigns as they trickle through. There’s no shortage of fantastic opportunities coming to the market as the year draws to a close!

The first cab off the rank is 61/241 Arthur Street – it’d be a shame not to share a glimpse of these fabulous interiors with you!
Architecturally renovated, every detail has been considered to highlight the original structure of the apartment. Minimalistic, high-end fixtures and finishes stand in elegant contrast to the original bricks and hardwood timber flooring throughout, to create a unique atmosphere.
Positioned in the golden triangle between Teneriffe, Newstead and New Farm, the lifestyle on your doorstep is incomparable. We’ll be there at 1.30 PM tomorrow for a pre-market viewing – we’d love to see you there!

Mercantile Dalgety Place is a notoriously tightly-held building, so I cannot wait to show you through two exceptional properties in this direct riverfront complex.
Units such as 11/135 Macquarie Street, masterfully renovated and in a prime position, very rarely come to market. Take in uninterrupted river views and enjoy private access to the Teneriffe boardwalk – we’ll be there at 9 AM tomorrow morning, and so should you!

In the second row of buildings, Unit 34 captures elevated views across the neighbouring rooftops toward Hawthorne and Bulimba. With updated, light-filled interiors, this is a fantastic Teneriffe residence, not to be missed. We’ll be there on Saturday from 9.45 until 10 AM if you’d like to take a look.

Later in the day, at 2.15 PM to be precise, you can find us at 9/133 Moray Street; if you’ve been on the hunt for a New Farm apartment with a fantastic layout and great view, I highly recommend stopping by for a preview, before we launch the campaign next week.

It’d be amiss, or off-brand some might say, not to wrap up this week’s Percival Press with an upcoming Woolstore opportunity. Spread across two levels on the top floor of the Mactaggarts building, Unit 152 is an apartment you’ll want to see. We’ll be there at 11.15 AM.

We have a busy Saturday ahead, but tomorrow, we’ll be sticking to the 4005 peninsula. Early last week, John sold 49/390 Simpsons Road, achieving a standout result of $1,320,000 for the complex!
I quite enjoyed driving the winding roads along the foothills of Mount Coot-tha but I’ll tell you what I won’t miss (aside from the congestion on the Riverside Expressway at 5pm). Sitting inside John’s latest project, a soft-top convertible he’s currently restoring, in peak hour traffic in the beating Brisbane sun, is a niche form of torture no one should endure. He’s exceptionally skilled at tinkering with cars, but inexplicably hasn’t made fixing the faulty aircon a priority as we head into summer… riddle me that!
Lucky for us, tomorrow’s route doesn’t require a scenic drive in a hotbox to the opposite end of Brisbane – hopefully we’ll see you there!
Talk soon,
Ben
