Before I wrap up this week’s email, I’d like to thank you for the many birthday wishes. Since so many of you were invested in my birthday plans, it’s only fair I fill you in! Unfortunately, raging Fridays aren’t on the agenda for me anymore, but I can confirm that Golden Avenue is indeed the venue Brisbane didn’t know it needed.
I couldn’t quite put my finger on what the atmosphere reminded me of – perhaps a distinguished hotel bar in an exotic location, with a futuristic twist. We only made a pitstop at GA for a drink, but as always, both the selection and service was top notch. Without even sampling the menu, we immediately decided to book their private dining room for a family celebration this year – Brisbane really has secured another hospitality gem and I can’t wait to be back!
