NO DATA THIS WEEK

Just a dinner at The Fifty Six worth writing about.

If you were hanging out for a weekly email packed with data and stats, I fear this edition may not scratch that itch. But I promise it’ll still be worth a read, because sometimes the most important things happening in a business have nothing to do with numbers.

If you follow us on Instagram (and if you don’t, you probably should), you might have already caught a glimpse of our team outing this weekend. Our evening started at Le Royale, Anyday’s latest venue, and it was nothing short of fantastic. The Tamsin Johnson interiors, the team’s signature hospitality, and of course, a fabulous cocktail menu we sampled our way through. From there, the night only got better.

Just around the corner, The Fifty Six very kindly invited us in for dinner to sample their brand new menu, and it was extraordinary from start to finish. From the first bite of prawn toast to the last spoonful of deep-fried ice cream, we polished off every single dish (Jonno’s GF options included).

Serving up an immaculate meal is an art form in itself, but creating an atmosphere that’s warm, attentive and genuinely memorable? That’s an entirely different, special skill entirely, and every single person looking after our table that night was phenomenal. Make sure you add this restaurant to your list – we might see you there, because we’ll be back to get through more of the menu!

Somewhere between courses, it really sank in just how special the whole evening was.

The fact that we were even sitting there, being treated to a meal like that, is something none of us takes for granted. What started as a weekly email has quietly grown into something much more: real relationships. The kind that turns into a reply, a DM, and in this case, a dinner invitation. If you’d told me selling property would lead to this, I’m not sure I’d have believed you.

My favourite part of the night? Hanging out with my friends, not just my team. No one was there because a calendar invite told them to be, but because somewhere along the way of building something together, we all became mates. You can’t manufacture that, and I won’t ever take it for granted. Anyway — thanks for indulging me. Back to business.

62/110 Macquarie Street, Teneriffe

Bathed in natural light with sweeping  views across Teneriffe’s rooftops toward Hamilton Hill, this apartment was stripped back to its shell and entirely rebuilt just two years ago — heritage bones, completely reimagined. This turn-key three-bedroom residence with nothing left to do but move in will be going to auction on Friday, 26 June at 5 PM.

82/53 Vernon Terrace, Teneriffe

On the other end of the spectrum — a one bedroom apartment, brimming with original heritage charm and plenty of room for the next owner to make it their own. Timeless industrial character meets a highly functional layout; take a look at Unit 82 tomorrow at 12:30 PM.

If you’ve been waiting with baited breath for pre-market opportunities, we’ve got three to keep on your radar:

  • A two-bedroom apartment in the Winchcombe Carson Woolstore

  • A one-bedroom apartment in Newstead’s Nero building

  • A one-bedroom unit in the iconic New Farm Powerhouse Terraces

Please reach out for more information on any of these if they’ve caught your eye.
