In a few weeks’ time, the latest addition to Teneriffe’s dining scene will be firing up their ovens to deliver the NYC take on a crowd favourite. Wedged between local institutions Zero Fox and Rita’s, Donnie’s – a new spot to grab a snack, a slice and a drink – will be in good company. You can never have too many of those and I look forward to stopping by when they open their doors!

In fact, I might just become a regular, swinging past after open homes once our campaign for 68/36 Vernon Terrace launches just before Easter. Before you ask, yes, we’ll be running open homes on Saturday, April 19, and no, I did not take on Georgie and Lou’s suggestion to make every inspection a giant Easter egg hunt.

On the top floor of the London Woolstore, the massive picture-frame window looks out toward Newstead in the distance. Spread across two floors, both bedrooms are positioned on the upper level, offering privacy and separation from the living area downstairs. On the lower level, an additional room can easily be transformed from a study to a bedroom or sitting room, as you see fit!
If the thought of returning to normality following the string of upcoming public holidays has got you counting down to October already, we’ve got news that’ll certainly brighten your day. We’ll be launching two properties on Macquarie Street shortly, each a brilliant opportunity in their own right.

On the front of the Ansonia Woolstore, a fantastic blank canvas to put your spin on will be coming to the market shortly. Brimming with heritage features, the bathroom has been extensively renovated to create a luxurious space, complete with a free-standing Pietra Bianca bathtub and heated towel rails. A hotel experience at home? This two-bedroom apartment delivers!

In the Saratoga Woolstore, preparations to launch a split-level apartment are underway. Offering loft-style living with massive south-facing windows that allow ample natural light to flood the property, this is a unit you’ll want to call home!

If a foothold in the Teneriffe market is what you’re looking for, this unit on the ground floor of The Cannery could be the perfect one bedroom opportunity to secure a first – or next home – in Brisbane’s most vibrant suburb! If your ears perked up, reach out to our Lead Agent Josh Hooton for more information!
Following the recent announcement for the federal budget, the income and property price caps for Labor’s ‘Help to Buy’ shared equity scheme have also risen, making the scheme accessible to more people who will be able to buy a wider range of properties. As a part of this scheme, 40,000 Queenslanders will be able to co-buy their first home with the government, reducing the size of the mortgage and deposit required to get into the market, with the option to buy out the government’s share over time. Applying to both new and existing homes, this shared equity scheme will significantly increase the number of first home buyers eligible to purchase a home by reflecting the rising average property prices in cities such as Brisbane.
While unfortunately not applicable to Woolstore apartments, next month also brings another big change for first home buyers. From May 1, buyers who purchase a new first home to live in, or vacant land to build their first home on, will be able to apply for a full stamp duty concession, significantly reducing costs!
On that note, our team looks forward to welcoming you to our open homes this weekend – we’ve got a big day on the cards and a wide range of opportunities to discover. Scroll to the bottom of our homepage to explore our upcoming open homes!
