If you read my last email, you’ll know I politely, but firmly turned down the suggestion of an easter egg hunt throughout our open homes this Saturday. You best believe my team didn’t give up on the Easter spirit that easily. We were all required to bring our favourite Easter treat to our mid-week training session, and this morning, I walked into the office to find little glimpses of colourful foil scattered all around our HQ.
If you ever need someone to coordinate your festive cheer, just reach out to Lou and Georgie – at this point they might as well include that in their job descriptions!

Personally, I think 24 Terrace Street in New Farm would make the perfect setting for an Easter scavenger hunt. A quaint worker’s cottage in a quiet cul-de-sac, opportunities to secure this type of property are indeed as rare as the Easter Bunny himself.
A single-level home with a typical square floor-plan, this home features the VJ walls, ornate breezework and rippled, stained glass windows often found in these heritage homes. With a covered verandah and a timber back deck, as well as optimal airflow throughout, enjoy the Brisbane climate year-round. Nestled just off Brunswick Street, between Howard Smith Wharves and James Street, this home will be coming to the market very soon…

On the ground floor of the Dakota Woolstore, Unit 106 is a rare opportunity to secure a court-yard apartment. Set across a single level on the ground floor of the Dakota Woolstore, this apartment on the front corner of the building features exposed concrete floors, timber beams and brick walls and offers direct street access from the private courtyard.

With seven original sash windows to capture the view across the rooftops of Teneriffe, Unit 301, a unique corner apartment on the front of the Dakota Woolstore, too is a golden egg.
Spanning 164 SQM, the floor-plan of this apartment offers a generous, open-plan living and dining area with a brilliant view, as well as optimal separation between both bedrooms. We’ll be launching this campaign very soon before taking this property to auction on the evening of Thursday, 22 May, on-site.

Good things come in threes, and this apartment on the back of the Dakota Woolstore concludes this week’s email. A brilliant layout with a sheltered balcony awaits, offering peaceful views toward the pool area. Move in while you decide exactly how you’’d like to upgrade this beautiful apartment, or add it to your investment portfolio – the choice is yours!
While our office will be closed on the upcoming public holidays, open homes will be going ahead on Saturday as per usual. I’m biased, but I think beautiful properties are the best way to break up the Hot Cross Bun trail – start at Baker D. Chirico, then pop into a few inspections before heading off to James Street to stock up on more goods: Between Agnes, Nodo and Jocelyn’s Provisions, there’s heaps of variety to choose from! If you’d prefer to head across the river, I hear Darvella has some pretty great options (provided they don’t sell out by 9am).
Whether you’re working your regular hours, picking up additional shifts or enjoying a few days of rest, I hope you get to make the most of the incredible weather that is predicted for this weekend!

As soon as our auction concludes on May 22, our entire team will be zipping across to Newstead to attend the preview INTERLUDE, John Wren’s latest collection.
You’ll recognise John’s diverse large-scale works from our Teneriffe office and our open homes – after all, the Woolstores are the perfect canvas for his impressive creations. His most recent works, which delve into smaller abstract and portraiture styles, will be on display at The Bethnal (next to Range Brewing) from May 21-23!
If we don’t see you at the auction for 301/88 Macquarie Street, we hope we’ll catch you at the VIP Launch! RSVPs are preferred, but you are most welcome to stop in on a whim!
Talk soon,
Ben
