‘Twas the week before our team heads down to the Gold Coast over the weekend to celebrate the year that has been, before taking a well-deserved break.
It really feels like we blinked and all of a sudden, we’re holding our last Saturday of open homes for 2025. If you’d like to take one more look at a property that has caught your eye, we’ve got a short, sharp schedule of inspections planned. We’ll have wrapped up by 11AM, just in time for you to head to a Christmas lunch or do a spot of shopping!
One property that won’t feature on our run sheet anymore this weekend is 9/133 Moray Street. This fantastic opportunity in the Princeton Building, in a quiet pocket of Moray Street, has been snapped up for $1,225,000!

We’ll be starting our day at our most recent listing, 6/258 Arthur Street. If you are looking for a spacious apartment that offers the perfect balance of lifestyle and low-maintenance living, this is the property for you. Moments from James Street and just a short walk to the river, the location is simply unbeatable. Take a look at this property with Josh at 9 AM tomorrow morning.

For our die-hard Woolstore fans, we’ll be holding an open home at Unit 68 in the London Woolstore. Spread across two levels in a quiet position on the back of the building, this is the perfect apartment to move into immediately or hold as a strong investment.

Next, you’ll find us at the Mactaggarts Woolstore. At 9.50 AM, we’ll be showing you through two top-floor apartments. For those seeking a move-in ready, renovated home, take a right and head up to Unit 143.
If you’re looking for an apartment that offers endless opportunities to add your personal touch, head up the stairs on your left to view Unit 152. There’s a top floor Woolstore for everyone, and our team can’t wait to show you through them!

Finally, we’ll be holding our final set of inspections at 10.30 AM. Just opposite the Mactaggarts Woolstore, you’ll find the entrance to 58/70 Vernon Terrace. If the decorated gargoyles on the balcony don’t put you in a festive mood, I don’t know what will.

If you’ve been looking for a one bedroom apartment, make sure you take a look at 202/88 Macquarie Street, before you clock off from your property viewings for the year! This is a spacious apartment on the front of the building, drenched in eastern sunlight you won’t want to miss.

Once we wrap up our last open home, I get to look forward to a fortnight of family festivities, days at the beach and doing a whole lot of doing nothing. My wife on the other hand, who can’t sit still for a minute, has a ‘house admin’ to-do list longer than my nieces’ and nephew’s requests for Santa.
We don’t have any plans to put our property on the market (that I’ve been made aware of…) but if selling in the first quarter of 2026 has been on your mind, the holiday period might just be the ideal time to declutter your home for an easier move and tend to all the pesky jobs that pile up throughout the year. It’s arguably not the most relaxing holiday, but making sure your home is in tip top shape before you present it to buyers can have a tremendous impact on your result, especially in a market where the demand for turnkey homes is greater than ever.
If you happen to be exceptionally organised and have already culled your closets and cupboards, why not take a moment to drop off your donations at your local op-shop before Christmas? Besides making way for what Santa will be bringing this year, your belongings might just find their way into the hands of someone who relies on securing Christmas gifts at a fraction of retail cost!
By making your donations before the holidays, you’ll do your part to avoid inundating charities and op-shops in January, forcing them to decline donations. If you’re a Teneriffe local, the RSPCA Op Shop on Lamington Street and Newstead Vinnies on Proe Street have a quick and easy drop off system!
On that note, I’ll leave you to organise your belongings or pack your suitcases!
Talk soon,
Ben
