For those invested in my dining experiences, let me tell you that Nonna’s Favourite might have just introduced me to my new favourite Brisbane venue. It’s a big claim, but every dish we tried at Doughcraft was absolutely flawless.
We devoured the set menu, including the Tiramisu cleverly served in a Moka, pictured below, and sampled our way through a few more sides. Every single bite was delicious. Do yourself a favour and treat yourself to this hearty meal, perfect for the cold snap we’ve been experiencing!

The temperatures may have absolutely plummeted this week, but buyer interest is hotter than it has been in a long time. A recent article from Domain about a record-breaking entry-level post-war house sale in Greenslopes stated, “buyers aren’t mucking around”.
Our properties are completely different in nature, yet the market sentiment is identical. Offers are coming in strong and fast, with properties going under contract off-market or selling pre-auction at a rapid pace.

Since the pandemic, we’ve seen people reconsider their living arrangements, be it due to needs or wants, and as such, Brisbane is experiencing a shortage of one bedroom apartments at a time when buyer demand is soaring.
12/36 Vernon Terrace, a one bedroom apartment on the back of the London Woolstore sold last weekend for $740,000 after less than two weeks of running buyers through the property pre-market. If you’re looking to make changes to your property portfolio, now is a great time to speak to an agent about the potential of your property!

Join us on Saturday at 9.50am or later in the later at 1.15pm for the open homes at 56/110 Macquarie Street. A sprawling residence set across a single level, enjoy all the perks of a house (I’m talking a separate laundry room and a storage room) with the ease of maintenance of an apartment. It doesn’t get much better than this!

If you’re an avid follower of our Instagram page, you may have noticed another fantastic property pop up in the Teneriffe Village Woolstore. Running exclusively off-market, opportunities such as Unit 72, a top-floor apartment in this tightly-held building, don’t come up often. We’ll be there on Saturday at 1.50pm if you’d like to take a look.

Unit 10 at 18 Helen Street is another fantastic low-maintenance opportunity on the border of Teneriffe and Newstead. Enjoy many of both suburbs’ most exciting and popular destinations at your doorstep, or retreat to the large entertainer’s balcony and take in the views of Teneriffe Hill.
Earlier this week, the sale of a mega-penthouse on Refinery Parade for approximately $17.5 million dollars proved that the demand for elevated apartment living is stronger than ever. While 360 degree views of Brisbane and an eight car garage may not be within every buyers’ reach, the proximity to the city and the river as well as the lock-up and leave convenience apartments offer is certainly at the top of many up- and downsizers’ list.
If you didn’t make it down to the Wharves last weekend, which is a lovely stroll along the river from Teneriffe, you’ll be pleased to hear that there was no need to say arrivederci yet to Festa Italiana. A raging success, as it is every year, it’s back for one more unforgettable weekend, wrapping up on Sunday, 15 June!
Why not join us for our open homes this Saturday, then head to Howard Smith Wharves for a fun Italian-inspired night under the stars?
Talk soon,
Ben
