ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER PUBLIC HOLIDAY

What’s better than a public holiday? Three in a row – unless you’re in charge of rostering, in which case, congratulations on getting through this week.

We’ll be back on deck Saturday, but our office will remain closed tomorrow as we observe ANZAC Day, commemorating those who serve and have served in the armed forces in times of peace and conflict.

Open homes will go ahead as per usual this Saturday and while the weather is looking a lot less lovely than it was over Easter, I hope we’ll see you there! This weekend, we get to show off two brand new listings and I’m certain you’ll be thrilled to discover them too!

301/88 Macquarie Street, Teneriffe

On the front corner of the Dakota Woolstore, I can’t wait to hear what you think of Unit 301. Offering a unique floor plan, this apartment boasts several additional windows, an appealing renovation and a lovely outlook across Macquarie Street toward the river.

Going to auction on Thursday, May 22 on site at 6 PM, there will be plenty more opportunities to discover this home in all its glory when the gentle morning sun spills in through the many sash windows, in case you can’t make it tomorrow.

24 Terrace Street, New Farm

If you thought buying a house in New Farm had slipped beyond your reach, I got great news for you! In a peaceful cul-de-sac off Terrace Street, a dainty worker’s cottage awaits. 24 Terrace Street is a single-level home with a low-maintenance garden and beautiful heritage features throughout. If VJ walls, ornate breezeways and rippled, stained glass windows take your fancy, you must come and take a look! Best offers close Thursday, 15 May at 5 PM.

217/50 Macquarie Street, Teneriffe

We’ve got a busy day of open homes this Saturday, so if the forecasted rain has put a damper on your beach plans, I highly recommend grabbing a brolly and joining us for a tour of some of 4005’s hottest opportunities!

Start your day with a hot cross bun matcha (Easter may be over, but this Kin special is a must-try before it leaves the menu next week) before heading over to the Saratoga Woolstore to view a single level residence with a rare position on the front of the building. Then, tag along to the Dakota Woolstore to be amongst the first to discover 301/88 Macquarie Street.

224/79 Moray Street, New Farm

If you feel so inclined, follow us to New Farm for a first look at 24 Terrace Street, and if you’ve always wondered what the view from the upper levels of the Gleneagles Towers join us at 11.45am to see for yourself! Let’s hope the weather doesn’t do us dirty with a torrential downpour!

409/88 Macquarie Street, Teneriffe

Grab lunch at one of the countless cafes or restaurants nearby – the peninsula really is spoiled for choice – before meeting us again at the Dakota Woolstore at 1.15pm. Take a look at an immaculate top-floor residence or let your imagination run free while you decide what’s next for Unit 223 on the back of the building.

143/53 Vernon Terrace, Teneriffe

Finally, wrap up the day with us at the opposite end of Teneriffe. Unit 143 is a renovated apartment on the top-floor of the Mactaggarts Woolstore, not to be missed.

47/53 Vernon Terrace, Teneriffe

Unfortunately, if you had your eye on 47/53 Vernon Terrace, this property won’t be available to inspect anymore. I’m pleased to share that this ground floor apartment sold earlier this week for $900,000, a fantastic result for the building!

If you’ve left the car at home, you’ll be in the perfect spot to hop on the CityCat or jump on the CityGlider. Did you know that this iconic blue bus service just celebrated its fifteenth year of making commuting a whole lot easier for those living in Teneriffe?!

See you on Saturday for an exciting day of viewings!
