A COUPLA NEW VENUES

If you showed up to Wild Legs Wine Room a week early, my apologies. It turns out I was a week ahead of myself, but if you turn up tonight, their doors will in fact be open and ready to welcome you after our open home at 47/53 Vernon Terrace. I’ve had a quick look at their food and drink menu and it’s looking brilliant!

I’ll admit, I don’t spend much time in West End anymore – the days of picking up my partner from Queensland Ballet’s HQ on Montague Road are long gone – but this month, the impressive Thomas Dixon Centre has scored not one but two upgrades.

Toms Kitchen welcomed its first visitors this week for brunch and lunch until 4pm daily. Now a beautiful space revealing the original pressed metal ceiling, I’m told this area was once the very cramped office section of the building – it’s amazing what a considered renovation can achieve!

Next Friday, the doors to Melbourne-based chef and restaurateur Shane Delia’s very first Brisbane venue will open in the underbelly of the same building. The former war bunker beneath the heritage arts centre has been transformed into a bold and vibrant dining space, with a menu blending Asian and Middle Eastern influences.

I’ve always had a soft spot for the Thomas Dixon Centre, its beautiful brick and timber interiors paired with a jaw-dropping renovation (no surprise here) and of course, the many memories I know it holds for Lou. I can’t wait for an excuse to return to try Layla and perhaps catch a show!

Just as exciting as the opening of a new venue – well, in my books at least – we’ll be launching an exciting opportunity in the Saratoga Woolstore toward the end of next week. A luminous split-level residence, this opportunity is not to be missed – get in touch if you’d like more information!

125/53 Vernon Terrace, Teneriffe

Speaking of loft-style homes, Unit 125 in the Mactaggarts Woolstore offers exactly that, including river-views and a direct riverfront position. Renovated to highlight the soaring ceilings and original brick walls, this property is a beautiful home, ready to move into or a brilliant addition to any property portfolio.

409/99 Macquarie Street, Teneriffe

Spanning 164 SQM across the top floor of the Dakota Woolstore, Unit 409 too offers impressive river views. No expense was spared during the most recent renovation, which included a full upgrade of all electrical and plumbing installations, as well as a refurbishment of the original hardwood flooring.

Top of the range fixtures and finishings highlight the vast space and original features to create a residence second to none. I highly recommend stopping by our open home on Saturday at 9.45am!

224/79 Moray Street, New Farm

Looking for a smaller floor plan without sacrificing amazing views? 224/79 Moray Street will be right up your alley! Perched high above the Riverwalk, enjoy breathtaking views from Kangaroo Point to the Story Bridge and CBD beyond, or watch the run clubs race by on the Riverwalk below.

504/109 Commercial Road, Teneriffe

Also offering incredible views of the CBD, I’m thrilled to share that 504/109 Commercial Road sold for $1,225,000. A low-maintenance apartment in the Fabric Apartments, this unit will be the perfect Brisbane base for the buyer who commutes between two states for business.

On an entirely different note, few things get me more excited than pre-market opportunities, both as a buyer and an agent. There’s nothing quite like the thrill of pre-viewing or showing off a property before a campaign launches, and as a subscriber to this email, you’ve come to the right spot for first dibs!

You’d be surprised how many deals come together ahead of a live campaign by leveraging our network of local owners and keen buyers. To me, it’s a bit like a game of chess across the streets of Teneriffe and beyond, except there are only winners: happy new owners, and sellers able to make their next move!

If you’re ready to find your next or forever home, keep scrolling to discover a couple of exciting opportunities yet to hit the market!

Ben
